SCOT takes great care in the tanning and finishing processes to enhance the natural beauty of ostrich leather. Soft lines criss-cross the smooth areas between the feather quills creating a unique pattern on the leather. It is this unique quill pattern that makes ostrich leather a sought after material. A high level of technical skill is required in the tanning process to enhance these natural attributes as well as the suppleness and durability of ostrich leather.

SCOT has a close relationship with a number of world’s top leather goods manufacturers and fashion houses whose inspiring designs are complimented and enhanced by ostrich leather. Leading stylists and designers realize the value of SCOT ostrich leather as it gives them the creative freedom to fulfil their most imaginative designs.
